About Us
The Lohia Group is one of the largest conglomerates in the North East Region of India based in Guwahati, Assam. The organization started its operation in 1981 as M/s Bajrang Steel Sales Corporation. Today, the Lohia Group consists of close to fifty different companies with business spreading across Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Delhi, West Bengal, Jharkhand and Orissa. The organization’s ascension is inseparable from the evolving dynamics of the North East’s economic progress. With consistent growth in varied fields over four decades, the Lohia Group is undoubtedly one of the most reputed and diverse business organizations in the region.
Bajrang Steel Sales Corporation was founded with the aim to provide a steel solution to the people of Assam. The group has since expanded its scope to include other industries such as cement, AAC blocks, TMT/Rebars, Ferro alloys, GP/GC sheets, low ash met coke, textiles, food processing, kraft paper, and oxygen bottling to name a few. The organization is the sole distributor and authorized stockist in the North East for TATA GP/GC sheets and dealer/distributor for various other steel manufacturers.
In recent years, the organization has expanded its interest to venture into other endeavors like education, real estate, automobile, lifestyle sanitary, fittings, marble, tiles, and other interior products. Subham, a unit of Lohia Group, is a leading real estate firm in the North Eastern region. Since 2007, Subham has been a premier developer and builder of residential and commercial complexes comprising apartments, office, and retail spaces across Guwahati and other parts of Assam. They have been instrumental in enabling the finest living standard in Guwahati for over a decade.

Topcem Cement is a leading cement brand in the entire North East India. This group is a part of Meghalaya Cements Limited which is now spreading its wings to other Eastern markets such as West Bengal and Bihar.

Mega Turbo TMT
Lohia group being a major player in steel manufacturing in the North East region has an in-house facility for making billets. Our Fe500D tent base is marketed by the name of ‘Mega Turbo TMT’.
AAC Blocks
Brikolite AAC Blocks
Lohia group was the first manufacturer of Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) blocks in the North Eastern Region of India. It is marketed under the brand name Brikolite AAC Blocks.

Lohia group was involved in the production of Ferro Alloys through Captive Power in Upper Assam and Industrial Oxygen in Byrnihat, Meghalaya. They operated under the brand Gasgen Ferro Alloys.
Food Processing
Eco Tech Agro, Dhansiri Tea
Eco Tech Agro Mills, situated in Bamungaon, Assam, is a sugarcane processing plant that produces jaggery from sugarcane juice without burning any of the residual biomass. Dhansiri Tea Private Limited, incorporated on 08 March 2021 is an NGO registered at the Registrar of Companies, Shillong.

Kraft Paper
Eco Tech Papers
Lohia group has started to manufacture Kraft Paper from waste paper, in a state-of-art facility at Kamalpur, Assam under the name of Eco Tech Papers.
